Dan Test 2020

I want to offer my heartfelt congratulations to our December 2020 Dan Test candidates on their successful promotion. In the face of adversity you chose the more difficult road, and I couldn’t be more proud today to call myself your “guide-on-the-path.” Congratulations!!! This was a long time in the making.

Best of 2020 – Martial Arts Training in Peabody!

It is such an honor to have been voted the #1 Martial Arts school in Peabody. This would not have been possible without the support of our amazing dojo members, our families and our friends. We thank you all for this tremendous testament to the work we do.

Anniversary T-shirt is here!

Dear Karate Family,
Check out your new 10 Year Anniversary T-shirt! Although we have faced many challenges together as a community this last three months, we are grateful for your support and loyalty to our dojo. This week we will be presenting each student with a special thank you gift to show appreciation. Be sure to pick it up after class! If you’re taking classes on Zoom, we’ll make arrangements to drop it off in your mailbox.
Thank you and have a great week.

Happy 10 Year Anniversary!

Dear AKTC Family,

As I pause this morning and reflect on the journey that I have been privileged to take with you this last ten years, I am continually filled with a profound sense of gratitude and humility. Thank you for so many extraordinary moments, and for helping to create something that challenges each one of us, to strive to be a better version of ourselves. Your belief and support of our mission has helped shape and influence the hearts and minds of both young and old, and helped to provide them with opportunities to be a truer version of themselves. For this, and so much more, I want to thank you and express my profound gratitude.

Happy 10 Year Anniversary to the students and families of Authentic Karate Training Center. We are proud to call you the Shiseikan Karate Dojo.

I can only image where the next ten years will take us.

Respectfully yours,

Chip Quimby

6th United Uechi Invitational Karate Tournament – March 14th

Dear Parents and Families,

I am very excited to share with you that we’ve officially begun our preparation for the 6th United Uechi Invitational Karate Tournament being held on March 14th at Gordon College. This will be our dojo’s sixth year co-hosting the event and we are thrilled to be able to once again provide our students with a rare opportunity to participate in such a high quality event. We’ll be working hard over the upcoming weeks preparing our students for the tournament, and look forward to seeing the progress and growth that accompanies our efforts as all the students begin their preparations.

This tournament is open to all children in the Karate Kids program as well as all adult students. I sincerely hope that you will encourage your child to participate in the tournament, so that they can fully benefit from the process of preparing for the event.  You can pick up a tournament registration form at the dojo, or print out the attached copy and return it to the dojo. As always, please let me know if you have any questions or need any assistance in filling it out. We’ll be spending a lot of time over the upcoming six weeks educating students about how the tournament will be run and how to best prepare for their kata performance.

If you have any questions about what the tournament entails and how both you and your children can get involved, please feel free to contact me. Below I’ve also included a list of FAQ’s which I think will answer many of your questions. We’re really looking forward to making this a fun and exciting event for everyone involved! Thank you in advance for your support and assistance.
